Underwaves Release Music Video For Latest Song "Prayers" March 3rd, 2020 • Press Release
Melodic metal band Underwaves,who hail from Brasov, Romania, that's surrounded by the Carpathian Mountains, have released an official music video for their latest single, "Prayers."
"Prayers" is a representative piece for us, we play it at all the concerts, and we felt the need to record it. Somehow, it's a song with a strong emotional load, about duality and destiny," said Underwaves. The video was made by Andrei Popa/POPS Media and was filmed in the woods near Brădet Village.
When Metal Pulp And Paper asked Carol what stood out the most about the "Prayers" video, he said, "the fact that it is our very first professional video and we really liked how it came out, and the fact that it has three plans that are filmed, and one story in it.
Underwaves is a female-fronted band that plays a combination of genres ranging from alternative metal and nu-metal to groove metal with metalcore and deathcore influences. The band formed in November 2017 with Ana Ignis (vocals), Bogdan Alexandru (bass), Dan Rat (drums), and Carol Alexandru (guitar).
